— About the studio
A small studio for the
hospitality obsessed.
Butter & Byte was born in the corner of a half-empty café on a Tuesday afternoon. Beautiful food, kind owners, no queue at the door. We wondered why. Then we built the studio that answers it.
— The story
Hospitality marketing was broken. Generic agencies treated cafés like SaaS companies. Freelancers ghosted after the shoot. So we built something different.
Butter & Byte is a boutique growth studio for restaurants, pubs, and cafés. We work with a deliberately small roster of clients — never more than we can taste-test ourselves.
Our team comes from kitchens, magazines, and ad agencies. We’ve run reservations systems, photographed Michelin tasting menus, and spent five-figure budgets on hyperlocal ads. Now we do it for you.
The name? Butter for the warmth, the craft, the texture of hospitality. Byte for the data, the tech, the cold clarity of numbers. Both belong on the same plate.
Four house rules
we will not break.
I
Hospitality first
We don't take briefs by email. We eat at your place, talk to your floor, read your bookings.
II
Outcomes over outputs
Reach is vanity. Reservations are sanity. Every retainer is measured in covers and revenue.
III
Full stack, one studio
Photography, content, ads, tech onboarding — under one roof so nothing falls between vendors.
IV
Honest reporting
Monthly business reviews with the boring numbers, not vanity dashboards.
